Cranberry whipped cream is a delicious no-bake Christmas dessert. I always make it when have some leftover cranberry sauce. It is very versatile and can be used to decorate, cakes, cookies, spoon on ice cream etc.

How to make cranberry whipped cream
If you are a beginner in a dessert World, this recipe is just for you. It is very easy as the only think you need to do is to mix cream, cranberry sauce and a little bit of sugar and whip all the ingredients until stiff peaks form. I always recommend using a deep bowl and place it in a fridge or freezer for about 30 minutes, before using it. It helps to get a nice desired consistency. Moreover, a deep bowl helps to avoid splattering and making a mess in your kitchen.

What does cranberry whipped cream taste like?
The consistency of this whipped cream is smooth and creamy. The flavor is tangy and sweet. Of course, this will differ depending on what cranberry sauce you are going to use. If your cranberry sauce is very sweet you can omit powdered sugar completely. If you are adding a homemade cranberry sauce that sometimes may be quite tart, I would recommend adding some sugar.
How to serve and use this festive whipped cream
There is many different ways to use this no-bake Christmas dessert:
- Eat it with a spoon, as simple as that.
- Pipe some of this wonderful pink cream of your cakes and cheesecakes and make them even more pretty and indulgent. Please be aware that if you use whole cranberry sauce it will affect the consistency and you will not be able to pipe the cream easily.
- Use this no-bake dessert as a filling or topping for your Christmas cookies.
- This cranberry cream is also great as a dip. I serve it with pretzels or crackers and my guests always comment that they love the sweet and salty combo.

How to store cranberry whipped cream
I always store it in a fridge in an air-tight container for up to 3 days. I haven’t tried freezing it so can not comment if it’s working or not.

Please read recipe post as well. It includes storage direction and other useful information.
I always recommend using a kitchen scale to weigh ingredients as it helps to achieve the best results. The US measurements in cups are the estimate and I can not guarantee the best results.
-
In a medium and deep bowl add chilled whipping cream (double cream) and cranberry sauce and mix until cranberry sauce dissolves. This step will help to get rid of any clumps.
-
When cranberry sauce is dissolved add sugar.

Now start whisking the mixture until stiff peaks form.
-
Be careful and do not overmix as the cream will curdle.
