This recipe is embarrassingly easy. The only thing you have to do is to place all the ingredients into a food processor and pulse it until you get a smooth consistency. But you have too follow few rules, otherwise your pesto will be bitter.

  1. Check if all the ingredients are fresh.
  2. Add olive oil at the very end and stir it in, do not add it to your food processor. Over processed olive oil causes bitterness.
  3. If you are using frozen peas, I would recommend defrosting it first.

  1. Leave oil oil aside. Add all the remaining ingredients into a food processor and pulse until you get a smooth consistency.

  2. When your pesto has a desired consistency, transfer it into a jar.

  3. Using a spoon, stir in olive oil. Do not add olive oil together with the rest of the ingredients into a food processor. If it is over processed it becomes bitter.

  4. Store pesto in a fridge for up to a week.
