Depending on your needs, you can serve this wonderful dish with pretty much any side you wish. I would recommend paring it with crushed potatoes and dill and garlic or potato bake with sour cream cheese and garlic.

If you are looking for a low-carb or a diabetic friendly side dish you can try hasselback butternut squash with chorizo. If you want something low effort you can just cook some fresh vegetables, like broccoli or cauliflower.

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breast into half (vertically).

  2. Place it on a chopping board, cover it with cling film and using a meat tenderiser or a rolling pin tenderise the meat. Tenderise the meat until all 4 pieces will have similar thickness.

  3. Dry chicken with a paper towel.

  4. Season chicken breast with salt and sprinkle flour. Set aside.

  5. Heat up vegetable oil and place chicken on top.

  6. Fry chicken for about 4 minutes each side.

  7. Remove the chicken on a plate and set aside.

  8. Now, add white wine on the pan where you were frying your chicken (deglaze the pan). The wine will boil vigorously but this is ok. Let it cook like this for about 2 minutes.

  9. Add butter to the wine and stir.

  10. Add onion, parsley and paprika, stir well.

  11. Place chicken back on the pan and cook it for 2 minutes each side.

  12. Add minced garlic and shake the pan, so the garlic is distributed evenly.

  13. Cook the meat in the sauce for 30 seconds each side, pay attention to the garlic and keep shaking the pan so garlic does not burn ( if garlic burns it will become bitter and will ruin the dish).

  14. Serve warm with potatoes and veg.
