How to make salted caramel pretzel brownies
Another very easy recipe on my website. You do not require any special skills to make these beautiful brownies.
TIPS:
- You will need a jar of gooey and thick salted caramel sauce. It is important for it to be thick so it is not absorbed in the brownie batter. You can buy a caramel in a shop or make your own. If you want to make your own, I can recommend using my recipe for the best homemade caramel.
- The size on the baking tin is important. If you use a large baking tin, you batter will be thin, so you will have to bake brownies for a shorter time. If you use a smaller baking tin your batter will be thicker and you will have to bake brownies for longer.
- When brownies are straight from oven, they are very soft and they need time to set properly. I would recommend a minimum of 3 hours of resting time, but ideally overnight.

In a medium bowl, whisk 4 eggs until pale and fluffy (on high speed) , it should take about 8 minutes.

Preheat an oven to 165C° fan (329F).
-
Add vanilla extract and salt to eggs and mix.

Bake in the oven for about 19-22 min, depending on the consistency you want. I baked mine for exactly 20 min.

Remove the tin from oven and let the brownie cool down completely before slicing.
-
These brownies are very gooey and they need more time to set, this is why I keep my brownies in the fridge overnight and cut them the next day.
